Rory waited 2,000 years. Survived through so many wars, pulled the Pandorica out of a FUCKING FIRE as he was PLASTIC MAN. But let’s bring back that 2,000 years.
Amy has to wait 36 years, becomes cynical and starts to hate Rory until he proves to her that it’s only been a few seconds and that he still loves her.
But really 2,000 years as compared to 36? Come on now Amy.
I never liked that.
